Behind the Scenes

Coming soon…our “Behind the Scenes” section of the blog will feature not-often-seen glimpses of what it is like to work at a custom sewing and alterations studio. We will highlight our staff’s bios and stories, show how we do certain alterations or services, give glimpses at our philosophy or process, or reasons behind our work, and show what really happens in our “backroom”.

As owner, I look forward to sharing more of the back-room information, as I think sometimes our work is misunderstood. There are those clients who view what we do as this big mysterious “magic wand” and believe that we can literally do anything, without limits. And there are those clients who view our work as “simple” or “easy”…and not understanding the complexities and expertise required to make something look and fit as good as it does.

So, this section will be for those who care to learn more about the process. Understandably, it won’t be for everyone….but for those who are interested, you will see more about our work and the amazing hands behind it!
